We took a preparation day...
(okay a little be of an exageration, but not much!)

For my Mother´s Day outing we headed to
The Sugar Cane Museum
(a sweet place to spend a day together!)
This was our guide.
He explained the various antique sugar can presses...it was a test of my spanish vocabulary!
it was a beautiful garden...look at the size of these leaves!
and of course we took missionary calls while wandering around!
Look at the roots of this tree....and the one on the right grew up in the middle of this wheelbarrow!

It was more of a beautiful garden than a museum.
The weather was beautiful.
The company was good.
And we made it home in time to have an activity with
our missionaries and their investigators
What a sweet way to end a wonderful day!
