zone conferences!!!

This round of zone conferences has focused on our "message"--

The doctrine of Christ...

faith, repentance, baptism, gift of Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end

The missionaries have--

--studied doctrine

--practiced principles

--shared ideas

--listened to messages

and hopefully they have been lifted and inspired.

Elder and Sister Packard, who are serving as the area mental health advisors,

have spent the week with us at our conferences.

They have shared wonderful ideas with the missionaries

about how to de-stress, find joy, and be successful.

The hurrier we go...

My mom used to always say,

"The hurrier I go - the behinder I get"

Maybe I am just starting to understand this wisdom.

Time to catch up on the comings and goings of missionaries.

They seem to be arriving a handful at a time.

Part of this is due to visa delays 

and 

another factor is the increase of missionaries and the limited MTC space.

It looks like we will have arrivals every 2 weeks for the next little while.

What's cooking?

Our Zone leaders in the Villa Colombia Zone had a great idea...

...a cooking night with Hermana Prince.

The thought behind their idea was that everyone would bring a friend

and they would find a lot of new investigators.

We had everything ready to teach how to make Apple Crisp

and also to taste Banana Bread and receive the recipe.

It was a delicious success.
