15 zones, 193 missionaries, 8 cities,
30 loaves of banana bread,

If it looks a was...the whole month was a blur of interviews!

¨Happiness is a continuation of happenings
which are not resisted.¨
Deepak Chopra

 This is REAL happiness.
We continue to see it Happening in the lives of good people.
We see our Missionaries making happiness happen!

18 months ago Marcela left for her mission
We were happy to hear of her happenings on her mission to California.
How fun to see her reunited with her parents.

Even though I sometimes resist it...
Missionaries just happen to complete their missions
and when I don´t resist letting it happen
Happiness occurs when they arrive back to their families!

We had four missionaries finish their missions this week.
Happiness is happening in Peru, Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica.

A Farewell Evening
with Elders Hidalgo, Matos, Borg, and Heredia

and then it HAPPENED.....

Elder Hidalgo´s parents arrived to pick him up from his mission!
True happiness HAPPENED as
we returned this great missionary to his mother!

And the next morning Elders Heredia, Borg, and Matos
were off to the waiting arms of their families.

Happiness is what happens when you don´t resist
what should happen...
See you soon...good and faithful servants!

Elder Duque and Elder Amado finished their missions!
 We love them!
We are lucky to know them and are grateful for their smiles.
We made sure they didn´t go home hungry...

It looks like Elder Duque´s family wanted to make sure!
I love that he took a little bit of Colombia home to share!

Inter - VIEWS...

I wish I was better with the camera.
I simply forget that it is in my purse sometimes.
Precious moments remain just memories in my mind and are not captured.
I sit with wonderful missionaries in interviews...15 mins each one.
We are talking about improving our ability to LISTEN...not hear, but LISTEN
to our investigators, leaders, companions, and most of all the spirit.

I become absorbed as the Latin missionaries
practice their English by reading the simple primary song:
LISTEN to the still small voice LISTEN, LISTEN
When you have to make a choice
He will guide you...ALWAYS!

It is awesome to see the understanding come...LISTEN ALWAYS!
Such a simple gospel principle...but we are still perfecting our ability to do so!

We share thoughts, share banana bread, and they are on their way...
without even a thought of me pulling out my camera.

But on the way to the interviews, I happenend to capture a few VIEWS of the journey!

Honestly...this is how we ALL feel...just glad President Prince stays awake while driving!

We love the big trees that hang out over the road.
No matter where you go in the world they have construction barrels!

So many motorcycles wherever we go!

Our favorite sight...missionaries walking to their interviews!
Sisters Rapalo and Flores with Elders Cartes and Checo
a great district!
It is a beautiful country...with beautiful views on our way to interviews!
