Estudiando Espanol

We spent a wonderful week at the MTC in Provo working on our Spanish.  Here are a few of the tutors that helped us during the week:  Katerina, Ruth, Fernando, Dario, and Marisol.  They were all so great!

The spirit at the MTC is so strong.  We spent our days among the missionaries - at the gym in the morning, eating our meals in the cafeteria during the day, and enjoying the Tuesday night devotional with

Elder Robert C. Oaks.  We were surprised by the number of Senior couples in the MTC preparing for their missions.  We are SO glad we were called on a mission!  Everyone should experience this!

Called to Serve

We have been called to Serve in the Colombia Cali Mission. Our mission preparations are somewhat akin to a tornado ripping through your house! We have sold two homes, stored our belongings, begun spanish and preach my gospel tutoring, participated in moving webinars and area conference calls, and tried to anticipate what we will need to take with us for 3 years.
We have had the guiding hand of the Lord, the missionary department, many dear friends, our parents, and our children and grandchildren (who are the wind beneath our wings!)
The adventure is about to begin...the countdown is real!
