Starting off a new year...

No better way to start a New Year than in Missionary Interviews!
At this moment we have 190 missionaries.
This week we visited with 4 zones and 50 missionaries.

Thank you Del Parson for this beautiful painting!

I am trying to be like Jesus
¨…para que testifiquen ante ti…que siempre se acuerdan de él,
para que puedan tener su Espíritu consigo.¨

¿Qué clase de misionero habeís de ser?
Os digo aun como yo soy.
 3 Nefi 27:27
(this is like the handout they are all receiving...
for those who do not read spanish there is always google translate!)

I am talking to the missionaries about setting some goals to help them to become more like our Savior...to remember HIM always...to represent HIM in their appearance and their behavior.
(Feel free to join us!)
We always work on something in English with the Latin missionaries...
As you can see above...there is only one phrase in English...I can´t think of anything better for them to learn to say as they start this year!

Elder Jeffrey R. Holland said,
¨We have always been invited to present our best selves.
...We should be recognizable in appearance
as well as in behavior that we truly are disciples of Christ.¨

(by the way this goes for my Returned Missionaries, too...shave those beards, cut that hair, and remember that you are a Colombia Cali Missionary!!!)

We are reviewing their dress and grooming
and
the cleanliness of their apartments...
We are cleaning up our acts and trying to be more like our Savior!

And we are remembering that we are NEVER fully dressed without a smile!!
Enjoy a few missionary SMILES...

okay...we have to have a little fun, too!

This is the first round of interviews for these assistants...
they are wondering if they will make it through 10 more zones!!
We love the training they do with the missionaries!
